The PolarBox is a connected remote monitoring system designed to continuously monitor commercial refrigeration installations. It monitors how an installation is running 24/7, detects abnormal behaviour and sends alerts when an issue occurs, with a particular focus on refrigerant leaks.

Sensors installed on site continuously measure key parameters such as temperature, pressure and the refrigerant level in the liquid receiver. During an initial 7-day learning period, the PolarBox learns the normal behaviour of the installation. It can then identify deviations, such as an abnormal drop in refrigerant level that may indicate a leak, and alert the operator.
