PolarBox is a remote monitoring system for refrigeration installations. It tracks how an installation is running around the clock and detects and reports any anomaly, especially refrigerant leaks.

It relies on sensors installed on site that measure data such as temperature, pressure and the refrigerant level in the liquid receiver. After a 7-day learning period, it knows how the installation normally behaves. From then on, it can spot a deviation, such as an abnormal drop in refrigerant level that points to a leak, and send an alert.
