Solstice® L40X (R-455A) is a refrigerant (GWP<150) for medium and low temperature refrigeration applications in compliance with the new EU F-Gas III regulation. With higher capacity and better energy efficiency than R-404A, it is the optimum refrigerant for direct expansion systems, condensing units (air/water), self-contained units or chillers and is easy and straightforward to use.
