Secop stands at the forefront of the refrigeration industry as a pioneering leader in Mobile cooling technologies. With over two decades of expertise, we are recognized globally for our advanced DC and solar-powered solutions.
Our commitment extends beyond just the cutting-edge technology. We collaborate with various non-governmental organizations (NGOs) including the World Health Organization (WHO) for fair world-wide immunization across the globe. This has led to the development of innovative refrigeration solutions that meet the latest WHO standards and contribute significantly to global health initiatives.
Secop’s latest innovation, the new Solar Direct Drive (SDD) System, integrates cutting-edge compressor technology and advanced electronic controls to offer an unmatched refrigeration solution. Key features include:
- Green and High-Efficiency AC/DC Compressor: Utilizing a light, compact, and powerful design utilizing variable speed, this solution achieves premier efficiency ensuring a low Global Warming Potential (GWP) footprint. Despite its minimal weight of just 1.5 kg, it can bring a 30-liter ice bank cooler from 43 °C to freezing temperatures within a single day of solar exposure.
- Versatile Operating Range: The system can operate across a wide voltage range from 85 V to 265 V and accommodates frequencies from 40 Hz to 65 Hz. This allows flexibility to apply this solution even in fragile power environments.
- Advanced Electronic System with Power Management: This system not only powers the compressor but also acts as a voltage stabilizer and spike protector, handling up to 510 V AC. Its world-class efficiency allows for the reduction of the number of PV panels required while still meeting all the WHO standards. This includes the new Equipment Monitoring System (EMS).
- Optimized Energy Use with MPPT: The integrated Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithm optimizes the compressor RPM based on available sunlight, ensuring maximum utilization of photovoltaic energy for sustained refrigeration of temperature sensitive contents.
Please join us for our presentation during Chillventa, where we will illustrate the application challenges, we have been focused on solving, and present the new WHO requirements. This demonstration will be supported by a case study that highlights the practical applications and benefits of our technology in enhancing global health logistics.
