What is NitroTrace gas with 5% H2 (hydrogen)?
Hydrogen, the lightest of all elements, disperses and dissipates rapidly. It is colorless, odorless, tasteless, non-toxic, and non-metallic. NitroTrace (nitrogen with 5% hydrogen) is non-flammable (according to ISO 10156) and environmentally safe.
Unlike pure (oxygen-free) nitrogen ("OFN")—which merely indicates the presence of a leak via a pressure drop on the gauge without revealing the leak's location - NitroTrace gas can precisely detect and pinpoint using the hydrogen-specific Leaktronic-4 sensor.
