- THERMAL-XR® is a patented, graphene-enhanced coating for aluminium and copper heat exchangers in HVAC-R systems. It is applied on site to new or already corroded equipment, so the system does not have to be replaced (GMG).
- In an independently verified test, a refrigeration system used 15.7% less energy (GMG). Radiative heat transfer is about 8.6 times higher than with uncoated aluminium (Proactive Investors).
- In salt spray testing to ASTM B117, the coating showed no corrosion after more than 30,000 hours (GMG). This significantly extends the service life of heat exchangers.
