Session description

Many existing HVAC and cooling systems hold enormous untapped potential for efficiency gains. Older systems in particular, those equipped with belt-driven or early AC fans, result in unnecessarily high energy costs and CO₂ emissions. This presentation will demonstrate how targeted retrofit measures—especially the replacement of these fans with modern EC technology—can achieve savings of up to 60%. In addition to traditional energy retrofits, digital retrofits will also be considered. Through the use of sensors, monitoring, and cloud-based analysis (e.g., with NEXAIRA), systems can be transparently monitored, malfunctions detected early, and performance continuously optimized. This not only increases energy efficiency but also enhances operational reliability and reduce ...
