New F-GAS Regulation & C.B.A.M.: the perfect storm

Starting with the Introduction of the New F-GAS Regulation on March the 11th 2024, the presentation will show whick key changes the affected Undertakings need to consider, possible strategies to enact and an overview of the CBAM Regulation (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism) which is also something to deal with. This is especially for the HVAC-R sector,: because of the spare parts made of Iron, Cast Iron, Steel and Aluminium imported from outside the EU.

We will also show a comparison beween the EU and GB: the divide between the two Regions is getting wider and wider, to the point that even the GWP for certain blends now are different. We have a clear picture through our Customers on how difficult it is to deal with Customs Procedures (new codes for Box 40 of the SAD), new Unit of Measure (tCO2eq), gathering manufacturer information and so forth. This presentation will aim at giving an idea of the extremely complex landscape and hopefully provide some insight on what to look for, how to change the working methodology and who to go for if clarifications are needed. It will also provide an overview of the Services which Navis has to offer to its Clients.
