Description

Smart Sore, in Nordborg Denmark, was built with purpose to demonstrate and test different technologies and interactions between systems with focus on energy/cost savings. Refrigeration pack is centre of HVAC&R system where we are producing hot water for heating, cold water for air conditioning and refrigeration energy for cabinets and cold rooms. Hot water system is connected to the district heating where we can purchase additional energy or sell if there is surplus in our own production.
Optimizing Surplus Heat Utilization is a test where we were focusing on decreasing operating cost by increasing heat production in refrigeration system when electrical energy vs district energy is in favour.
Second test focuses on cabinets Rail Heat Energy Saving Control and influence on overall system energy consumption.
