The short seminar aims at shedding some light on these relevant and topical points: 1) Lack of adequate capacity building, focus on flammable refrigerants and safety, importance of certification; 2) Protect EU’s goals: ensuring F-gas Regulation compatibility with availability of equipment, lower - GWP refrigerant alternatives and trained personnel (technicians and engineers) to install them; 3) The challenges set by alternative and natural refrigerants: flammability, toxicity, high pressures, heat energy.
The seminar includes five high-level speakers - both AREA Members and the sister pan-African Association U-3ARC, to deliver presentations concerning the programme. Each presentation will be in English language and last about 10 minutes; the event will conclude with a final debate (with Q&A) to wrap-up the session.
