Session description

A Heat Pump is a versatile device used for both heating and cooling spaces. During winter it extracts heat from the outdoor air, even in cold weather, or from the ground using a ground-source Heat Pump. It then transfers this heat indoors, effectively warming up the space. While in summer, the Heat Pump reverses the process, absorbing heat from the indoor air and releasing it outdoors, thereby cooling the space. Essentially, it functions as an air conditioner during hot weather.

Although the concept of Heat Pumps is straightforward, their practical implementation presents technical hurdles, especially concerning refrigerant flow and moisture management.
