Session description

This presentation will provide an update from the United States on issues of common concern, including the refrigerant transition, implementation of tax incentives for the purchase of energy efficient products, and the state of regulations at the end of the current presidential administration.

The refrigerant transition is well underway; manufacturers are currently producing equipment with next-generation refrigerants and will begin widespread distribution at the beginning of 2025. At the same time, AHRI is working diligently to ensure that all 50 U.S. states and all U.S. territories allow the use of A2L refrigerants by the January 1, 2025, deadline.
