With the New R-744 Copeland Scroll Compressors, Emerson wants to make R-744 more affordable for small supermarkets, discounters and convenience stores. The main target application being the R-744 Booster racks, with Medium Temperature cooling capacity from 20 up 100 kW and Low Temperature cooling capacity from 4 up to 50 kW.
The Dynamic Vapor Injection (DVI) Technology used together in the Scroll compressors allows to make R-744 Booster with a very simple design for all climates, no need for parallel compressor anymore while achieving similar or even higher seasonal performances.
