Description

With the increase of R-290 charge to 500 g (EN60335-2-89 revision), it allows now OEM's to design Integral Display Case Cabinets with one refrigerant circuit, making it more cost effective. R-290 is a good natural refrigerant: very low Global Warming Potential, natural, high system efficiency, same pressure level as R404A... but is flammable.
Our solution and our application engineering experts facilitate customers' life to comply with the relevant regulations. To reach high efficiency rating (energy labelling), variable speed is the best technology available on the market.
The Horizontal Copeland Scroll compressors (YBVH models) together with the new Emerson drives (already paired) and the ECB-Pro Controller, provide a ready-to-use solution which allows OEM's to put products faster on the market. We will show the variable speed benefits of variable speed versus fixed speed in that application, as well as some case study. Capacity modulation is also a good point for complexity reduction and brings additional flexibility, our product line up consist of 3 displacements (from 21cc till 46cc), which can cover display case cabinets of capacity ranging from 2 to 7 kW medium temperature capacity and also from 0,5 to 2,3 kW low temperature cooling capacity.
Another key benefit of this solution is the low height of the compressor, which is less than 200 millimeter tall, being Horizontal, it makes it suitable to be fitted at the bottom or at the top of the display case giving more design flexibility.
