In order to decarbonize these heating loads, high temperatures heat pumps are the best choice in terms of costs, efficiency and enviromental friendly solutions. The working fluids of this innovative heat pump project for a dairy plant are natural fluids (hydrocarbons): a cascade cycle with R-600 for the HT stage and R-290 for the LT stage.
