Established in 1918 by its founder Mr. Mario Dorin as manufacturer of mechanical tools and machines, air compressors, liquid pumps and service centre for vehicle engines, OMD in 1932 focused on production of refrigeration compressors and their systems. Soon this became the major field of work of the company.

The genius of the Founder together with his mechanical skills, his entrepreneurial capacities, supported by the seriousness , commitments and professionalism of his sons, grandsons and great-grandsons, are the base of the development of the company, becoming a global reference in refrigeration.
