MAGNOTHERM is shifting the cooling industry to refrigerant-free, magnetic cooling technology. At the core of the technology are magnetocaloric materials, with an inherent heating and cooling property, in response to magnetisation and demagnetisation respectively. Using magnets and a closed loop water-alcohol circuit to transfer the effect, the technology is refrigerant-free, inherently safe, and features no direct global warming potential. With efficiency gains of 30%+, magnetic cooling is an alternate to conventional gas compression, and targets a broad range of application area, incuding data centres, retail, building cooling and beyond.
