The FCM2610-L is Figaro’s compact semiconductor gas sensor module under development for detecting R290 (propane) refrigerant leaks in air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment. Measuring only 26 × 26 × 16 mm, the module is designed for space-constrained OEM installations and provides a straightforward embedded sensing solution for equipment using natural refrigerants.
The module has a declared alarm setpoint of 6.2% LEL (1,302 ppm) R290 and responds within 30 seconds at 25% LEL under the specified test condition. It operates from 5 V DC across –30 to 60 °C and 0–95% RH, with an initial stabilisation time of approximately 60 seconds.
