Session description
As heat pumps become a mainstream technology, performance improvements are increasingly driven by smart controls and system optimisation rather than hardware alone. In this presentation, TNO will describe how digital twins of dwellings, heating systems and heat pumps are being developed to represent real-world performance and to act as enablers of smart functionality.
We will explain key issues for the Dutch energy transition, where tools developed around the digital twin toolbox can contribute to the solution.
