
25 MW District Heating by Modules
The task is to execute 25 MW of district heating in an efficient and safe way with the natural refrigerant Ammonia. The heat source is a by-product of sequestration of carbon-dioxide in Denmark. By using 6 x 4 MW modules of heat-pump packages a process-safe way of independent systems has been found.

Session description
The task is to execute 25 MW of district heating in an efficient and safe way with the natural refrigerant Ammonia. The heat source is a by-product of sequestration of carbon-dioxide in Denmark. By using 6 x 4 MW modules of heat-pump packages a process-safe way of independent systems has been found. The use of the until now biggest high-pressure compressor SRH26 marks a novelty of application. This is a great contribution to mitigation of global warming climate change and at the same time providing a utility to public services.
