Session description
There are three key areas of legislation that matter for those who place on market, use or install fluorinated refrigerants. This covers
1) legislation touching on energy efficiency;
2) the F-gases Regulation which is the central sectoral legislation;
3) and several touch points to REACH including the registration of individual refrigerants and the current UPFAS proposal.
It is important that these legislative provisions are aligned and do not contradict each other.
