The Machine Safety Regulation

On 20 January 2027 Regulation (EU) 2023/1230 will fully replace Directive 2006/42/EC ? directly applicable in all 27 Member States, with no national transposition. For HVAC&R manufacturers, installers, importers and distributors this is not a paperwork exercise: it is a structural change to how we design, certify, connect and service our products.

This 20-minute session, delivered from the perspective of ASERCOM, walks through what changes in practice for our sector:
