About us

Under the theme “Cool Climate – Sustainable refrigerants for more climate protection”, the Westfalen Group will be presenting products and services for sustainable progress at Chillventa 2022. The range includes leading edge refrigerants and thermal transfer media. Particular focus is placed on solutions offering low Global Warming Potential (GWP) – implementing the F-gas Regulation and protecting the climate.

  • Our refrigeration and air conditioning industry range at a glance:
  • Natural refrigerants - such as the climate-neutral TÜV-certified product Pronat® R-744 (currently available in Germany and Austria)
  • Synthetic refrigerants - such as the innovative A2L refrigerant, for particularly energy-efficient cooling solutions
  • Sustainable refrigerants reprocessing - for which our new Group cylinders simplify the return of used products
  • Antifrogen® thermal transfer media - for perfect frost protection and corrosion inhibition
  • Services and technical consultancy - also offered for F-gas Regulation implementation

Our Quality Assurance, from input analysis through to cylinder filling, guarantees consistently high product quality. Our customers also benefit from our robust logistics and nationwide sales partner network. We’re happy to make express deliveries and special journeys on request and as required. Our emergency assistance is also available around the clock. Regular investment in our European filling and logistics sites ensures high security of supply. The Westfalen Group further extended its refrigerant capacity by opening a new works in Münster-Gelmer in 2021.

Our friendly customer service team are happy to help with any general and technical questions, offering advice on legal framework conditions or support in planning and implementing made-to-measure cooling solutions. You can also find useful tips and tricks for everyday practices online in our Refrigeration knowledge base.
