About us

SEW® - Pioneer of Multifunctional Closed-Loop Systems

High-efficiency and reliable energy-saving technology. Since 1983, SEW has been offering GSWT technology. With recovery rates exceeding 77% for closed-loop systems, we continue to revolutionize the entire heat recovery industry. Thanks to its high thermal efficiency and unique redundancy, GSWT closed-loop systems can take on additional functions. This makes SEW the founder of multifunctional heat and cooling recovery technology.

The high thermal efficiency combined with the high redundancy of GSWT® technology enables efficiency ratios of 1:20 to over 1:100. This means that with a small amount of electricity, up to 100 units of heating, cooling, and re-cooling can be generated.

Lower Emissions – Higher Air Quality

The payback period for such energy-saving systems can be immediate or very short due to the potential to replace heating, cooling, and re-cooling capacities. The high redundancy of GSWT technology also allows for multiple paybacks through cost savings in other trades or on the building structure. In addition to implementing highly efficient energy-saving measures, we also promote the high-quality execution of air and climate control systems to maximize air quality, using GSWT technology to reduce CO2 emissions. The flexible GSWT technology is particularly recommended for retrofitting and renovation projects.

Impressive References

Among our most important references are the Federal Chancellery, major hospital buildings such as the Charité Berlin, University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf, Hannover Medical School, Klinikum Stuttgart, and Klinikum der Universität München-Großhadern, as well as large-scale heat recovery systems at Leopoldina Hospital Schweinfurt and in the Chemical Institutes of the University of Bonn (510,000 m³/h). For construction projects seeking DGNB certification, GSWT technology is the top choice.
