We, the engineering office Refolution Industriekälte GmbH, focus on sustainability and energy efficiency.

In addition to the use of exclusively natural refrigerants, this also means that we do not use PFAS and use this motto to implement projects that are outstanding in terms of functionality, durability, cost-effectiveness and safety.

One of our main areas of application is the low-temperature range, where we primarily use cold air refrigeration technology from Mirai. This uses a turbo compressor to produce the refrigerant R729 (air) at any temperature between -30° and -160 °C. By dispensing with fluorinated or flammable refrigerants, coupled with high efficiency and reliability, the machine is suitable for both new systems and retrofits.

However, we also consider all other natural refrigerants. We use what is the best solution for our customers' processes according to our sustainable standards. To achieve this, we take a close look at our customers' processes and requirements. By coupling refrigeration and heat extraction, we use the waste heat from refrigeration processes to decarbonize our customers' heat streams and even generate electrical steam.
