R-744 (CO2) based refrigeration is, without any doubt, a great evolution for the shift to low-GWP refrigerants. R-744 however requires high pressure and temperature, that means a complete redesign of heat exchangers and the whole refrigeration circuit. Flexible hoses could help to make this transition easier.
Flexible thermoplastic hoses are already widely used in refrigeration and air conditioning applications where flexibility, easy installation and maintenance are mandatory.
