Decarbonizing RACHP: How bio-sourced heat transfer fluid cuts fossil dependency and TEWI in fast growing markets

Discover how 1,3-propanediol, a 100% bio-based glycol powering Greenway® Neo N, reduces RACHP carbon footprint by 84% vs. fossil MPG alternatives, and can improve TEWI with case studies in data centers, breweries, and wine fermentation.

Session Beschreibung

This session dives into Greenway® Neo N using Susterra® Bio-PDO, a 100% bio-based, USDA-certified glycol, as a decarbonization lever for cooling systems. Switching from fossil-based glycols (MPG/MEG) to bio-based PDO cuts cradle-to-gate GHG emissions 84% compared to MPG and 65% compared to MEG.
and lowers TEWI through:
- Direct Emissions: 84% fewer GHG emissions than propylene glycol (PG) from cradle to gate (ISO 14040/44).
- Indirect Emissions: lower pump power demand cuts electricity-related CO₂, while regenerative agriculture (no-till, cover crops) sequesters carbon in feedstock corn.
- TEWI Optimization: PDO’s superior thermal conductivity and low viscosity at sub-zero temperatures minimi ...
