Session Beschreibung
Developed under the IEA Heat Pumping Technologies framework by the Danish Technological Institute alongside international partners, Project 65 investigates how circular economy principles can be applied across the residential heat pump value chain. As the electrification of heating increases demand for materials such as copper, aluminium, electrical steel and rare earth elements, improved material efficiency and recovery can contribute to greater supply-chain resilience while reducing lifecycle environmental impacts.
