First Step: Presentation of the New Technology (MPS™)
This section includes an introduction to the new technology and the sensor's performance.
Here is an abstract:
The heart of the sensor is NevadaNano’s proprietary Molecular Property Spectrometer™ (MPS™). NevadaNano originally developed the MPS™ for demanding military applications.

This sensor technology is powered by thirty patented inventions and over one hundred trade secrets. As a smart sensor with built-in self-test, analog or digital outputs, and integrated environmental compensation, these sensors perform dozens of measurements to monitor the environment, verify the gas composition, and measure the concentration of gas in the air, ensuring more accurate reported concentrations than any other sensor. Additionally, the use of rugged materials and self-cleaning technology ensures that these sensors provide best-in-class performance as the industry’s first sensor not requiring field calibration. Eliminating the requirement for calibration allows customers to use the sensors in demanding, cost-sensitive applications, knowing that expensive calibration or replacement is unnecessary. All of this creates a highly attractive total cost of ownership compared to traditional sensors.

Second Step: Presentation of the Full Detector (MLD)
In the second section will be introduced the solution to integrate MPS technology into a device designed to fulfill all the requirements of HVAC-R OEM manufacturers will be introduced: the MLD (Molecular Leakage Detector).
Here is an abstract:

The MLD refrigerant gas detector is an ATEX-certified solution using the MPS™ technology to indicate the presence of low GWP A1, A2L and A3 refrigerant gases. It provides both a continuous signal proportional to the gas concentration and activation via relay for alarming once a preset (and settable) level is reached. Some of the technical advantages are its long lifetime, no field calibration, built-in environmental compensation, resistance to poisoning, wide temperature operating range, and durability. A dedicated electronic board powers and protects the sensor from reverse and incorrect voltages, convert the sensor signals into multiple communication languages for easy interfacing with common control units, thanks to Modbus, Relays, and Analog Outputs.
