In 2014, Climalife launched F-Gas Solutions, the simple, educational mobile application that has become the reference in Europe for more than 90,000 refrigeration, air conditioning and heating professionals.

In response to the new European regulation (EU) 2024/573, known as ‘F-Gas III’, which came into force on 11 March 2024, F-Gas Solutions has undergone a facelift and now includes all the business applications using fluorinated greenhouse gases to support all players, whatever their activity:

- domestic refrigeration
- commercial industrial refrigeration,
- air conditioning and heat pump,
- automobile / transport,
- fire protection,
- foams,
- electrical switchgear,
- aerosols.
In terms of functions, users will find:

- The famous calculator, which gives the GWP of the refrigerant according to the new F-Gas III calculation rules (AR4 & AR6) and the load in Tonnes of CO₂ Equivalent.
- Obligations regarding the frequency of leak detection depending on the process fluid and its load in the system.
- The module “Climalife F-Gas attested solutions”, which provides information on future bans for new or existing equipment, by application. For each situation, professionals will find the list of refrigerants available on the market and Climalife's recommendations, considering various criteria (GWP, safety, flammability, availability, energy efficiency, etc.). The table of solutions can be sent by email.
For maximum accessibility, the application can be used offline and has been translated into 7 languages: French, English, Dutch, German, Spanish, Italian and Hungarian.
