The Chillventa AWARD– Connecting Experts
Tender Chillventa AWARD
The Chillventa AWARD is presented by NürnbergMesse GmbH in cooperation with the publishing company Bauverlag and its HVAC&R trade magazines “KKA Kälte Klima Aktuell” and “tab – Das Fachmedium der TGA-Branche”. The Chillventa AWARD recognizes the achievements of expert teams (designers/planners, system engineers, clients/operators), who have realized a project that is based on exemplary cooperation going beyond just technical standards and impresses with regard to its functionality, energy consumption and technical innovations.
The Chillventa AWARD will be presented in the four categories commercial refrigeration, large-scale/industrial refrigeration, air conditioning and ventilation systems, and heat pumps at Chillventa in Nuremberg from 13 - 15 October 2020.
Terms and conditions
The jury commends completed projects that in times of climate change represent flagship developments for energy efficient and environmentally friendly refrigeration, AC or heat pump technology. In keeping with the Chillventa motto “Connecting Experts”, the jury will consider in particular the interaction between project stakeholders from conceptual formulation through planning and system engineering to operation of the system.
Apart from these factors, the Chillventa AWARD also considers other aspects such as functionality, technical innovation of the system, exemplary use of modern digital tools and methods, adherence to budget and schedule, environmental facets, and certifications.
Any form of refrigeration, AC or heat pump system (new or rebuild) realised in Europe is eligible for a Chillventa AWARD. The entrants themselves must have been responsible for realising the project and it needs to have been completed no more than two years previously and by the closing date for entries at the latest.
Eligible are clients/operators, designers/planners and system engineers, as individuals or in consortiums, with an office located in a European country – with explicit reference to any partners involved. Not eligible are the manufacturers of components and systems from industrial or commercial enterprises. Eligible entrants may, however, be supported by industrial and commercial enterprises.
The completed files should be submitted with the reference “Chillventa AWARD Project XY” via the webserver www.it-bauverlag.de or via „WeTransfer“ to firstname.lastname@example.org by 26 June 2020 (date of receipt of the project data by mail) – if the file size is smaller than 10MB, the files can be sent direct to the above-mentioned address.
The competition languages are German and English. The entrants should make sure that their project is presented comprehensively in the submitted text, plans and photos and clearly structured both overall and in detail. Decisions of the jury are final and any recourse to legal action is excluded.
