The F-Gas Regulation gives greater impetus to natural refrigerants. R-744 – CO2 (carbon dioxide) in refrigerant form – is the only refrigerant which is neither toxic nor flammable but still has low GWP (1).
With its Pronat® brand, the Westfalen Group goes a step further: we offer the Pronat® R-744 natural refrigerant as a “climate neutral product” – actually certified as such by TÜV Rheinland. Throughout the manufacture, filling and transport of our product we avoid, reduce and offset emissions – taking into consideration every process all the way through to leaving our factory gate (our “Cradle-to-Gate” approach).
