  • Customers are mainly the stampers but also the compressormanufacturers and the OEM white goods andcar manufacturers.Martensitic hardened and tempered steels exhibitthe ultimate material characteristics when superiorfatigue performance is required.
  • The flapper valve is subject to bending as well as impactstresses making the fatigue strength of the hardenedsteel of highest importance. The properties andthe precision manufacturing of the flapper valve steelcreate the reliability and performance of the flappervalve, enhancing the efficiency and the lifetime ofthe compressor.The precision strip steel and its heat treatment providethe prerequisite for an excellent fatigue performanceof the valve.The surface finish and the metallurgical cleanness securethe required performance.
