ThermoKey offers over 30,000 unit cooler solutions, used for food preservation in cold rooms, fast freezing tunnels, greenhouses temperature control and other applications.
In order to meet the market needs, ThermoKey provides solutions with:
- low noise fans to guarantee low sound level in processing rooms
- inspectionable, stainless steel unit coolers that are resistant and easy to sanitize
- big surface geometries to guarantee the expected capacities, with low process temperatures . Specific units were developed to preserve fruit and vegetables with blow-through fans, optimizing air distribution
- defrosting systems to guarantee maximum cooling efficiency
- blast freezers to ensure the rapid freezing of foods and preserve their original properties

- Process Dual Flow Unit Cooler used in processing rooms for draft-free air distribution to improve working conditions of operators. Its design allows the best air distribution also in limited height rooms and gives a good choice when air ducts can't be used or are not planned.

ThermoKey unit coolers can be equipped with a wide range of accessories:
- SEVERAL DEFROSTING SYSTEMS to minimize frost presence on the unit cooler and ensure maximum cooling efficiency.
- INSULATION to prevent heat from being lost and flowing towards the cold room during the defrosting stage and to prevent - while the unit cooler is working – the external drip tray from cooling, avoiding condensation and dripping phenomena. Insulated drip tray or double insulation drip tray are available.
- DRAIN HEATING ELEMENT to prevent ice from returning through the condensation drainpipe of the plant to the unit cooler drip tray.
- Fan Cowling heating elements. Low power rubber belt heaters to prevent ice formation near the fans or high-power stainless steel sheated heaters to defrost ice on the fans.
- AIR-THROW COWLS AND AIR STREAMERS to increase fan air projection, eliminating the turbulent motion of air itself.
- STAINLESS STEEL CASING or RAL 9010 PAINTED CASING, two solutions which can be chosen as an alternative to our standard aluminium and galvanized steel casing, thus ensuring greater durability especially in particular conditions of the cold room.
- AISI 304 or 316L STAINLESS STEEL HEAT EXCHANGER (TUBES, CASING, FINS, FAN GUARDS) These materials may be selected for particularly aggressive environments, in the food industry and in applications where detergents for heat exchanger cleaning are employed.
