Water-cooled water chillers

We offer liquid-cooled chillers for industrial and commercial use. SKADEC’s water-cooled chillers are available with scroll and reciprocating pistons and also with screw compressors. In addition, we can also supply you with a sound insulation housing on request. In a power range from 5 kW to 2400 kW you have various options. For example, you can choose a design with a different number of independent refrigeration circuits. Another option is the cost-effective integration of free-cooling. This requires an additional heat exchanger and a 3-way valve as well as a software package. This solution saves energy costs and CO₂ emissions compared to alternative mechanical cooling variants in winter. Water-cooled chillers can be equipped with a weatherproof and sound-proof housing. They are therefore suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation. They offer the advantage that space can be saved if the chiller and the associated recooler are installed separately outdoors. In addition, the sound pressure level is reduced compared to air-cooled chillers installed outdoors. Furthermore, higher SEER values are achieved due to the better fluid heat transfer compared to the air-cooled type.
