At this year's Mostra Convegno tradeshow in Milan, SIKA officially introduced its
optimised vortex flow sensor for heat pumps for the first time. The specialist for high-quality flow measurement technology presented its latest development in the VVX series called "Low Delta p".
SIKA vortex sensors have proven their reliability millions of times over in the field. Time to further improve the product. The result is a sensor with a pressure loss of just 106 mbar. This helps to further increase the efficiency of a heat pump (the COP value). At the same time, the measuring range has been extended to 2.5...80 l/min. This means that the flow sensor is perfectly matched to the requirements of state-of-the-art heat pumps of different performance levels.
Another unique quality feature are the final tests in series production. Each Vortex- sensor is finally calibrated in the water test bench and the individual result is saved in each device. This ensures that each sensor actually maintains its accuracy.
