Modular Cold Rooms - MACRO System

MACRO System is a type of commercial cold rooms designed to satisfy a wide range of needs.

Made with a modularity of 200 mm, these cold rooms have as their strong point a remarkable ease of assembly and are available in 4 different thicknesses: 60, 80, 100 and 140 mm.

The sandwich panels that make up the cell are injected and insulated with polyurethane foam (density 40 + -2 Kg / m3) and have a RAL9010 white pre-painted hot-dip galvanized sheet coating.

Upon request, it is possible to produce cold rooms with special coatings, such as stainless steel and fiberglass suitable for food use.

The perimeter of the panels is made up of a suitably shaped expanded polyethylene gasket to ensure an optimal thermal seal after mechanical tightening carried out by the action of the eccentric hooks.

The horizontal and vertical columns are injected with expanded polyurethane. These profiles are made with a rounded internal corner with a radius of 10 mm. such that once coupled to the panels, a hygienic finish that is easy to clean is formed inside in accordance with European directives. These columns can have 2 or 3 connection ways in order to allow the connection of several cold rooms together.

The standard floor panel of the cold room is made with a coating of 7/10 thick galvanized steel sheet plastic coated with rigid PVC film, 200 micron thick, gray anti-slip R10. Alternatively, it is possible to have the floor panels reinforced with 9 mm of phenolic stratified laminate and an anti-slip upper coating with a hexagonal finish. Other types of reinforced floors are also available on request to meet a wide range of applications and needs.

The panels are protected by applying a chloride adhesive film scratch-resistant polypropylene. A pre-drilled closed cell polyethylene gasket is applied to the perimeter thickness of the panels in correspondence with the eccentric hooks to safeguard durability against the aging process of the polyurethane due to exposure to UV rays.

The standard door has a clear passage opening of 980x1900H, 800x1900H or 600x1900H (without price variation between three solutions), equipped with external handle with key and internal safety release visible in the dark and hinges with lifting ramps. A heating element is installed on the doors for low temperatures. We make the door leaf from the same high quality material as our panels. The aluminum frame, the 20/10 aluminum threshold, the hermetically sealed magnetic gaskets, the adjustable hinges and the external handle with key and internal safety release help to form a sturdy and high quality door.
