Maximum power density was JAEGGI's main focus in the development of the ADC High Density. This is why these units are particularly suited for high-capacity applications in the range of 500 – 3,500 kW such as the cooling of IT systems.
The extremely compact cube with minimum footprint provides outstanding capacities already in dry operation and hence a high switch point for activating the adiabatic pre-cooling unit – this saves you real money! The adiabatic pre-cooling unit is attached across the entire hight of the cube, for maximum power. All mounted parts and components are integrated in the casing. Even the fan is not visible from the outside. Modular industrial design – neat appearance, functional layout.
Safe and hygienic operation
The sophisticated design of the ADC High Density takes account of the acknowledged technical rules with regard to the hygienic operation of evaporative cooling systems. The pre-cooling unit with humidification medium is completely separated from the heat exchanger.
The humidification control supplies the easy-to-replace humidification pads with the minimum amount of water that is actually required for the specific situation. This minimizes water consumption and prevents standing water.
When inactive, the pre-cooling unit is drained automatically. The unit also allows for draining and venting the on-site feed water pipe.
Thanks to the separation of pre-cooling unit and heat exchanger, the latter remains completely dry. The unit does thus not fall within the scope of national relevant regulations.
Through participation in a "hygiene training acc. to VDI (Association of German Engineers) 2047 Sheet 2" to ensure the hygienic operation of evaporative cooling systems, all sales representatives are certified.
This means JAEGGI offers its customers added value on three levels: Consulting expertise throughout the entire life cycle of the units, safety thanks to the sophisticated design of the units and their control concepts, and certified service staff.
Adiabatic operating principle
JAEGGI hybrid coolers can be operated dry and wet. Both operating modes allow for reaching very high cooling capacities at a small footprint and at low operating costs. The ADC HD's cooling limit – the return temperature that can theoretically be achieved – depends on the wet bulb temperature of the air at the heat exchanger. Our experts design the ADC HD for your specific application and optimize it for the intended operation of the plant. This is the only way to optimally dimension the dry coolers and to minimize the operating costs of the plant as a whole.
HYBRIMATIC – Intelligent control saves operating costs
The intelligent control unit HYBRIMATIC continuously records the amount of wetting water applied, the speed of the fans and the state of the ambient air. This provides the basis for the integrated cost management function that continually decides whether applying water or increasing the fan speed will provide the more efficient mode of operation. This reduces your operating costs without any loss of performance, thus saving you real money. Necessary information for this, such as the fan speed, is read out from the Güntner Motormanagement GMM via bus communication. This speed data can alternatively be transmitted using a
0 – 10 volt signal.
