According to the current colour and ripening tables in the banana industry, a decimal figure is shown on the display with the aid of a colour camera. This value indicates the current degree of ripening as a decimal figure with one decimal place.
The system consists of a camera head that is linked to the digital display via a cable.
The benefit is that always the same and an objective colour measurement value in relation to basic calibration is generated as a reference.
As a result of the display with one decimal place, changes in colour that are not visible with the naked eye can also be measured. The colour sensor unit is available in a portable version or as a fixed installation in a ripening chamber.
