Single embossed laserwelded pillowplate is applied on Tank and Vessel walls. The inside is flat and not disturbed by the welding.
The principle is that a thin plate is laser welded on a thicker base plate. After completion of the tank itself, the thin plate is inflated with water or compressed gas (30-60 bar) to form the heat-exchanger. Then the in- and outlets are welded on the heat-exchanger.

A good relation between the sheet thicknesses is 1:3. this means for example:
