DSI is a leading company involved in designing and manufacturing manually-operated and automatic plate freezers.

In Denmark DSI manufactures many different types of manual horizontal and vertical plate freezers which are suitable for use in onshore and marine installations.

History
A/S Dybvad Stål Industri was founded in 1969 and concentrated on manufacturing steel components until 1979 when we manufactured our first plate freezer.

In 1997 a decision was made to devote production exclusively to plate freezers, and steel component manufacturing was discontinued in 1997.

The success of our company has made numerous extensions necessary, most recently of our administration and staff facilities.

From the beginning we have directed all our efforts into manufacturing plate freezers designed in accordance with customers' specifications, built with tried and tested standard components by dedicated employees.

Over the years we have performed a wide variety of projects and much of our success can be ascribed to a well-defined policy: always keep the customer in focus.

Areas of Competence
DSI has a years of experience in developing and manufacturing double contact plate freezers characterised by reliability, safety, and ergonomic design. And they are easy to clean and to keep clean, in accordance with the demands of the veterinary authorities.

Our areas of competence are built up around these key focus points. The ability to understand customers' needs and fulfil these, combined with a high level of flexibility, is made possible with the help of a workforce that is well qualified in all fields, from product development to customer service.
