The company is located north of Milan, in Mese, where offices and manufacturing facilities are accommodated in a 40.000 m2 area of which 30.000 m2 roofed.
The cross-border activities of FIC are witnessed by its active presence in 60 countries through importers, dealers, agents and other intermediaries and own branch offices in Germany, Poland, and Sweden.

Our core business are the thermo plates based on the TRAPCOLD® technology: this is known also as dimple plates and consists of two metal sheets, fully welded together and blown-up. The thermal fluid flows between the two sheets.The material used are all austenitic steel (e.g. AISI 304, 316, 321etc) Duplex steel (SAF), LDX2101, Titanium, special Ni alloys.
The fields covered by FIC products are extremely wide with however the food sector solidly leading and particularly dairies, wine-making, ice cream, breweries, bread-making at the forefront. Other fields solidly entrenched in our experience are the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, drying industries, heat-recovery at large, paper and mechanical industries, packaging, liquid extraction, painting, medical equipment, thermo plates and refrigerated vans industry. In all these fields, a chilled water production is often necessary, it is possible to answer to this need with our icy water makers: Red, Everest and Falling film.
