Extremely efficient temperature exchange between air and water takes place in the counterflow layer heat exchanger (GSWT®). Use in ventilation and air conditioning systems leads to maximum energy saving.
The cleverly designed modular structure of the GSWT® transfers heat and cold with a high degree of exchange. The air flows between lamellae and reacts in counterflow with the water in the pipes. Following the heat exchange process between warm air and cold water, the air is almost as cold as the water was before and the water almost as warm as the air was before. The GSWT® is used for low-temperature air heating, natural air cooling and highly efficient heat recovery. Thanks to the exchange quality of the heat exchanger, minimum temperature potentials can be used to warm up or cool down air or water.
