CI 4000 revolutionises E*LDS system management for refrigeration systems and integrated building automation.
At the Chillventa 2014 Eckelmann presents innovative solutions for the energy efficient automation of supermarket refrigeration systems (Hall 5, Stand 304) A special trade fair highlight is the new CI 4000 system control centre with intuitive touch operation. The sophisticated user guidance via bold icons and modern entry options makes the parameterisation and operation of E*LDS systems a real experience. “Commissioning and service have been speeded up considerably thanks to the new operating philosophy”, stated Product Manager Michael Suhre: “Access to one of the most adaptable and robust control systems on the market has thus been made considerably easier for E*LDS novices. Whoever is familiar with the CI 3000 will quickly find their way around the new navigation structure and will be surprised by the extremely intuitive operation.”
The unit monitors all the pressure, temperature and operating data of complex refrigeration applications, with the optional integration of the complete building automation. In addition, the CI 4000 can also conduct the load management and data archiving across all maintenance groups. This information is available online at any time via the Internet interface (Ethernet). This enables service centres to quickly provide support or conduct remote maintenance and optimisation of facilities, thus reducing service costs. Store managers or energy mangers can access current performance and temperature data at any time, which is then displayed in clear and individually configurable system schemata, diagrams or tables. Examples are energy and consumption data for individual meters or maintenance groups (LT, NT, lighting, water etc.) as well as 24h temperature lists in accordance with HACCP with added information such as the display of defrost events or the time for which limit values have been exceeded.
