Bluetooth interface makes communication easier
KRIWAN makes condition monitoring quicker and more secure
Bluetooth has prevailed as a robust and secure technology in the field of wireless data transmission, and has been developed based on industry standards. Bluetooth has now become the worldwide standard for data transmission over short distances in smartphones, tablets, and industry. This is why KRIWAN has developed its own Bluetooth adapter, which can be connected to its Condition Monitoring/Diagnose protection systems via a DP interface cable. This allows data to be read out from protection units locally, as well as parameterized and adapted in line with the protection unit's function. The major advantage of the wireless technology is that all mobile devices use Bluetooth as standard, meaning that they can be used as diagnosis devices through an INTspector app (available for free from app stores); no additional measuring systems are required. Added to this is the cordless connection, which ensures easy handling around machines.
Security and protection against tampering are basic prerequisites when it comes to communication. This is why the protection units do not communicate directly by radio, but rather only as soon as the Bluetooth adapter is connected to the DP interface cable. This is the only method of evaluating and parameterizing, with parameter setting also being secured with password levels.
With this interface converter, KRIWAN facilitates exchange of data between both machine and system parts, and man and machine. Recording and targeted forwarding of information from components and units in refrigeration systems is becoming increasingly important in the context of Industry 4.0. They facilitate preventive maintenance measures, and increase process reliability.
