The use of tubes with a smaller external diameter allows for a price reduction, but without any effect on output. What's more, they can be immediately installed on existing machines. Sierra is now using tubes of 7mm and 5/16” (7.94mm) in the production of its heat exchangers, thereby reducing the use of raw materials.
The constant increase in the price of raw materials (especially copper) has led the companies in this sector to search for more cost effective solutions throughout the production chain. That's why Sierra, a leader in the production of heat exchangers, has introduced a 7mm tube with a geometry of 25 x 19 (tube pitch 25mm, row pitch 19mm), alongside the 3/8” and 5/16” tubes.
