Yanmar micro cogeneration range consists of 25 kWe, 10 kWe, 5 kWe and 4 Kwe models.
All models are powered by a Yanmar gas engine, to run on natural gas, propane or biogas, depending on the model. The engine drives a highly efficient and compact generator that provides electrical power output through an inverter, assuring easy grid connection and stable power output. Heat is captured through a heat exchanger, heating water for instant use or tank storage. Depending on local regulations, excess electricity can be sold back to the grid, enhancing the system’s payback.
Each compact package under a low noise all-weather canopy has a STANDARD MAINTENANCE INTERVAL OF 10,000 HOURS, one of the longest in the industry. This makes it possible to run continuously for 13.7 months before the first minor routine servicing is required. Other features are partial load operation, an advanced system controller, electrical or heat demand operation and a remote monitoring system.
The largest model, the CP25WE at 25 kWe, can be configured with up to eight units running in parallel, creating an output of up to 200 kW. Smaller models also can be linked, to work in two or three parallel formations.
The target markets for the Yanmar units are mainly commercial applications like hotels, restaurants, nursing homes, agricultural and horticultural facilities, swimming pools and health spa’s, but also larger private residences.
