Sylomer®, proven spring/damper combination for the past 30 years, with static continuous load range of 0,11N/mm² - 1,2 N/mm² for standard types. This is a hybrid-cell material with internal damping, made possible by the synthetic matrix and not by inclusion of air pockets. This allows for consistent functional properties.
Sylodyn®, highly elastic spring for dynamic high performance: A material that maintains its “softness” dynamically and statically. Sylodyn® features closed cells and a low mechanical dissipation factor. Static continuous loading for standard types is between 0.075 N/mm² - 1.5 N/mm².
Sylomer® HD, a damper with high mechanical dissipation factor for absorbing shock loads. The standard type range includes strain hardness of between 0.03 N/mm² - 0.30 N/mm².
Sylomer®, Sylodyn® and Sylomer® HD are produced continually as sheeting and manufactured to customer specifications - but can also be manufactured as preformed parts or as compact, semi-finished products.
All materials are applied in construction, industry and mechanical engineering. In most cases Sylomer® is used as a compression spring or as a spring damper. The properties of a spring can also be adapted to the relevant construction, construction style and strain by specific selection of the type of Sylomer®, surface area and construction height.
